Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is at a wholesale meat market. Day to day you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred.
