Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Finney County, Kansas. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders On a typical shift you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge.
