Structural MIG welder • South Gloucestershire, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in South Gloucestershire, England. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
