Industrial sewing operator • Towns County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Towns County, Georgia. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
