Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Prince Edward County, Virginia. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Your main tasks: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
