Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Brewster County, Texas. You will be based with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days Full-time with occasional weekends.
