Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in City of Emporia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in City of Emporia, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat The role involves: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
