We are recruiting: aluminium fitter (Minnesota)

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Itasca County, Minnesota. You will be based at an ACP cladding fabricator. Day-to-day duties: • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine Requirements: • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
