Civil works labourer wanted in DeSoto County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a civil works labourer in DeSoto County, Mississippi. The job is on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it On the job you will handle: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
