Earthmoving equipment operator • Lowndes County, Alabama

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Lowndes County, Alabama. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. You will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
