Vacancy available: glass cutter (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass cutter in Jackson County, Iowa. You will work on a high-rise facade project. Your main tasks: • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points Requirements: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
