Horticulturist • Tuscola County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Tuscola County, Michigan. You will work in a public park. The role involves: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Rotating shifts.
