Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Nelson County, North Dakota. Day to day you will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
