CNC milling operator — South Lanarkshire

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. Your main tasks: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Full-time, day shift.
