Gantry crane operator — Igbo-Eze-South

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Igbo-Eze-South, Enugu State. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦85,000 per month, based on your experience.
