Great opportunity: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. You will be based at a busy roofing firm. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day The role involves strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
