Gas metal arc welder wanted in Atlantic County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Atlantic County, New Jersey. You will work at a busy production line. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
