Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports On a typical shift you will feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
