Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Divide County, North Dakota. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. The role involves lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Part-time with flexible hours.
