Urgent requirement: GMAW welder (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Chattooga County, Georgia. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
