Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Montgomery County, Arkansas. You will be based on a busy housing site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Full-time, day shift.
