Urgent requirement: site safety steward (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site safety steward in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Rotating shifts.
