Immediate opening: pastry baker (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pastry baker in Borough of Rochdale, England. You will be based at a cake shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills On the job you will handle: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
