Hand presser wanted in Redcar and Cleveland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Redcar and Cleveland, England. On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
