Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Lincoln County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
