Gantry crane operator wanted in Hutchinson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
