Refrigeration field service technician • West Lothian, Scotland

Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in West Lothian, Scotland. The job is in an HVAC service company. On a typical shift you will recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; service split AC units and VRF systems; fault-find control boards and defrost timers. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Full-time with occasional weekends.
