Now hiring: gas installation technician (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
