Your main tasks: • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs Ideal candidate: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
