Argon welder wanted in Rockcastle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE 6+ years on the tools preferred. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
