Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Nemaha County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
