Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Washington County, Missouri. The job is at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
