Immediate opening: crawler crane operator (Mississippi)

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Adams County, Mississippi. You will work on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Your main tasks: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
