The role involves: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Full-time with occasional weekends.
