Immediate opening: heavy goods vehicle driver (Northern Ireland)

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a container freight yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels £150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
