Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Emmons County, North Dakota. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings.
