Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Brown County, South Dakota. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Day to day you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; score the top of loaves before baking; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
