Join our team: heavy equipment operator (New Jersey)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Mercer County, New Jersey. The job is at a road-building project. On the job you will handle: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
