Immediate opening: automotive paint technician (Iowa)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Sac County, Iowa. The job is at an accident repair centre. Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
