Now hiring: gas metal arc welder (Anambra State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Orumba South, Anambra State. The job is on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Part-time with flexible hours.
