Health and safety supervisor wanted in White County

Join our team: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in White County, Indiana. You will work in a chemical processing unit. On the job you will handle: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Overtime paid at a premium rate.
