Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Sequatchie County, Tennessee. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
