Join our team: we are hiring a fettler in Fremont County, Wyoming. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Your main tasks: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
