Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Oneida County, Idaho. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
