Gas commissioning technician wanted in Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Pike County, Illinois. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Your main tasks: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
