Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork The role involves assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations.
