The role involves run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
