Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Sullivan County, Missouri. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
