Immediate opening: ladle pourer (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Burke County, Georgia. The job is on the moulding line. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 6+ years on the tools preferred.
