Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Webster County, Missouri. Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
